Try this for coincidence: It didn't snow here, but we had a tree like the one in Brooklyn down in front of the Lions' house, two doors down across the street today. Our lights went out at about 8am, because the tree had performed the same trick with their sidewalk and snapped our power line for good measure. As a result there were about 4 hours w/o electricity. And we were SO fortunate that they (police, fire truck, electric company, bobcat, refuse truck, men with saws...ARLINGTON POWER!) came right away. Darn, we should have taken pictures, but it was too windy and cold to venture forth!
Bei uns meldet sich ganz langsam der Fruehling - jedenfalls haben sich die Schneegloeckchen getraut und einige Vogelpaerchen picken im Garten. Bei euch sieht es ja noch wie Muetzenwetter aus (ja, ja die Muetter und Tanten) - Umarmung euch!!
Man sieht es zwar in diesem Bild nicht so genau, aber er hatte eine Kaputze auf, die ich ihm für das Foto abgesetzt habe, weil die Schneeflocken so süss aussahen auf seinem Kopf. Es ist natürlich etwas komisch, dass mein Hut so prominent auf meinem Kopf sitzt!
