Christmas Blizzard

We made it back to New York by train on the evening of the 26th and dragged the luggage and carried the baby through the driving snow in the middle of the night. As of the evening of the 27th our street still hasn't been plowed. Here are some pictures from the day after the blizzard. It took about 20 minutes to get dressed, and Francis and I spent about 8 minutes outside where the 40-mile per hour gusts made being outside rather unpleasant.

Contemplating the snow and finding it troubling.

Checking for mail and showing off new boots (thanks, grandma!)

In the vestibule and not wanting to go upstairs.

It's much more fun to play inside in the new tent. (thanks, grandma!)

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Day: Favorite present! (thanks, Julie)

It's not easy to get all of these kids to cooperate at picture time...

Ayden & Xav

I went to Xav's last game and got to see him play and Ayden cheer for him and his team. Next time you see Ayden you will have to ask her to show you her stuff!

Bauman/Moreno Halloween Party

Halloween at the Moreno's

Happy Halloween!

I made Francis a sheep costume he refused to wear, so he wore the skeleton pyjamas I found the in the hand-me-down box and I wore the sheep hat for the photo.

This scary skeleton wants to take your temperature!

Oh, and Francis like to make John and me kiss the jack o' lantern. Any idea what that might mean? Does he want a little brother? (And, no, that is NOT in the plan.)
