Today we had a stoop sale in Brooklyn. A stoop sale is like a yard sale when you don't have a yard! Here's a picture of our stoop with some stuff set out. The sale lasted from 11 to about 4.
My friends Heather and Joel live in Manhattan, so they don't even have a stoop. That's why they came to our neighborhood to sell their stuff. Their 4 year old daughter Vera took this picture.
After the sale we took our earnings and had dinner down the street at Soda, the bar where we had one of our wedding parties. We made a little over $31. What we sold was mostly junk. Heather and Joel made a lot more than that. Their stuff was a lot better than ours.
